// Chalk Ledger is a chalkboard-style lifting notebook for logging sets, reps and weights, working out plate loads and following your progress over time.
[01] Information collected // inputs
None. There is no account, no sign-up and no login. The workouts you type in stay on your phone and are never sent to us or anyone else.
[02] Local storage // on-device
Kept in OS-level local storage on your device, never uploaded:
- Logged workouts: exercise names, sets, reps, weights, dates and any notes you add.
- Routines you build, and an unfinished workout so you can pick it up again.
- Preferences: weight unit (kg or lb), bar weight, available plates and similar settings.
- The name you type on your profile (optional), unlocked badges and whether you have already seen the intro screens.
Uninstalling the app deletes every byte.
[03] Permissions // runtime
Chalk Ledger does not request any runtime permissions. It has no access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts or photos.
[04] Network // egress
The app works fully offline. It does not make network requests and does not send your training data anywhere.
[05] Third parties // vendors
No analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs are built into the app. Nothing is shared with or sold to third parties.
[06] Children // coppa/gdpr-k
Chalk Ledger is a general-audience fitness log and is not aimed at children under 13. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect data from children either.
[07] Your rights // you
Everything lives on your device, so you are in full control of it. You can delete any logged session inside the app at any time, and uninstalling Chalk Ledger removes all of its data. For questions, write to the address below.
