Duffel Draft
Duffel Draft is a packing-list planner that turns a short trip brief (destination, nights, travellers, activities) into a checklist you tick off as you pack. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
Duffel Draft does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
Information we collect
None. There is no account, no sign-up and no form that asks for your email address, phone number, location or payment details. The optional traveller name you type during setup is a label for your own lists and stays on your phone.
Data stored on your device
To make the app work, Duffel Draft stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:
- Your trips: destination, dates or number of nights, travellers and the activities you picked.
- Checklist items for each trip and whether each one is packed.
- Packing templates you save for reuse.
- Your traveller profile: the optional name and the avatar you chose, plus whether setup is finished.
- Preferences such as default nights and travellers, list grouping, hiding packed items and reduced motion.
- Progress badges the app awards as you complete trips.
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to Duffel Draft or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.
Permissions
Duffel Draft requests no runtime permissions: no camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or notifications. The Android build declares the standard INTERNET permission that every Flutter app carries, but the app itself never opens a network connection.
Network use
The app works fully offline. It does not send your lists, settings or any usage information to a server, and nothing you enter is synced to the cloud.
Third-party services
No analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs are integrated, and there are no in-app purchases. The open-source libraries the app uses (for local storage, charts and animation) run entirely on your device.
Children's privacy
Duffel Draft is a general-audience travel utility. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).
Your rights
All of your data is in your hands: you can edit or delete any trip, item or template inside the app, and clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it erases everything. Since we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to export or delete on our side.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
